 For Vaikom Jayachandran, Carnatic music was a natural choice. His father, Vaikom G Vasudevan Namboothiri is a renowned carnatic musician in Kerala. It’s no surprise that he decided to carry forward his father’s legacy and there was no looking back. His father was his first guru.
